Herp Fauna Foundation was founded in 2020 by Mukasa Emmanual. The goals of Herp Fauna are to empower the people of Uganda, with the knowledge and skills to live harmoniously with our beautiful wildlife.

Uganda is blessed with some amazing natural flora and fauna. The economic and environmental value of keeping these natural areas intact is extremely important and can provide sustainable jobs for thousands of Ugandans.

We must educate our youth, in order to change the overall attitudes that people have towards reptiles and wildlife in general. Through our educational programs, we educate the public about the value of our wildlife and how/why we need to conserve our natural areas.

Herp Fauna offers herping tours, to those travellers who are seeking a different type of “safari” experience! Come with us into the forests to seek out some of Uganda’s most unique animal species - The Reptiles!
