A Snake Awareness Evening Success!

We’d like to thank Dancing Cup Cafe and Restaurant for hosting us on Nov 17th!

This was an afternoon mini-lecture which focused on general snake awareness and safety in Uganda. Attendees learned about snake identification, biology, ecology, snakebite prevention and how to act in the event of a snake bite!

A big part of what we do, is unraveling the plethora of myths, folklore and misunderstandings about these animals! In doing this, the truth begins to reveal itself and that is when fascination and curiosity can being to overcome fear and ignorance!
